He said, “People always ask if doing a podcast is a successful marketing channel for Lumi. It is — but mostly because I don’t think of the podcast as a marketing channel…I do the podcast because it feeds my curiosity.”
There are plenty of non-traditional reasons to run a podcast. Curiosity is one. Not many people know I use to run a board game publishing company and podcast about the business of board games.
I learned so much from hosting that show by interviewing publishers, designers, manufacturers…but it was my curiosity that helped fuel it. I do the same thing now with my own podcasts and the podcast we produce for our clients.
