SEMrush recently released a study titled, “The Anatomy of Top Performing Articles: Successful vs. Invisible Content” and it has some interesting findings.
So what does make an article stand out? For context, SEMrush analyzed the data of over 700,000 articles.
Shorter articles (300-900 words) have zero shares 4.5 times more often than long reads of 3000+ words.
This becomes very interesting for the podcast space because most of the people I know what simple show notes. Something to ponder.
