This highlights the importance of being focused. Having a niche. And not being afraid to say no.
In the past, we used to run newsletter campaigns to promote the podcasts we were producing.
Then, I realized that we are not an email marketing firm. We produce podcasts. So, we refocused our efforts on providing assets they could include in newsletters and referred them to other people who were experts in that area.
